Circulated Toned Coins

I have never seen a circulated toned coin that I thought was pleasing to the eye. Most of them are dull and ugly. If you have one that YOU think is appealing to You, please post it and lets take a look.

Would that include mildly circulated coins that were cleaned at one time long ago and toned nicely? That would be a number of 19th century coins.

On older coins (1800's, early 1900's), the 'circam' look in pleasing.... that is when the devices are fairly clean with dirt/tarnish in the fields.... such as this. Cheers, RickO

Imo, coins were made for circulating through commerce. I am working on an Everyman Set for my 7070 Type Set, 20th Century MS. I have seen quite a few circulated toners which are off the charts for eye appeal, but others may not think so. This is probably one of my nicest circulated toners that are presently in my collection.

After viewing all of the posted circulated toned coins, I have to say that a high percentage of those are actually eye appealing.
