Wellll, it is what it is! I remember wrapping it, and considering also at the time carrying it as a full time pocket piece. Dan used pure silver at that time. It was straight out of the flip, with clean surfaces. Really closeup shows those small patches you see in NT. ••••. Interesting Experiment. Maybe now five years as a pocket piece and let the dark toning live on. Get it down to an XF with those little natural tics and high point abrasion.
BTW back when I first got these I had the Head Teller at the local bank fully convinced it was our New 20 Dollar Coin! ( I don’t think the 75 mintage would have been enough though)
Interesting experiment. I can’t tell if the toning looks natural or attractive do to the lighting. What’s your thoughts on how it turned out with the piece in-hand?

I do still wonder how Dan got away with those. Seems like a lot LOT of legal issues were skirted here.
I consider it a fantasy token. Unlike the NORFED (Bernard Von Nothaus) "Liberty Dollars" I never promoted or advocated that mine actually be used as any type of legal tender currency.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
The coin looks nice but a lighter or darker background would help with the coin more illuminated.
I get the feeling it's nicer than the pictures show!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Yuck
Nice
Dip it and try again with a napkin from a different eatery. Peace Roy

Nothing that a quick dip can't fix.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
I like the idea of a Circulated Carr piece. Unique.
Decent.
Nice nice to see it age over time!
