I'm a big fan of Louis Feuchtwanger and that's a great piece.
Unfortunately, for better or worse, I think the German Silver color killed it. It seems people just want their cents to be copper (or copper colored), even in 2021.
"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko.
I am a large cent collector, thus my interest in adding a Feuchtwanger Cent to my collection. I also find the design of the eagle and the snake very interesting. This example was acquired unattributed a long time ago, and I was very surprised when I found out last year it is a rare variety 3-D.
I know that there are a lot of varieties for this private issue, and that some are valuable. Could someone please help me determine the variety of my type example?
It is the 6-I die combination, Rarity-1 and probably the most encountered of the 13 die combinations. (A quick diagnostic -- if there is a berry [sometimes looks like just a stem] to the left of the bow it is one of the most common combinations.)

I really should add one of these to my collection. An integral component of American coin history. Cheers, RickO
I have been poking around at the notion of getting one myself.

Cool coins, I've always liked the obv design, with the angry eagle.

I learn so much from this forum. I had never heard of these. That eagle looks really angry. Neat coin.

Love Dr. Feutchwanger's tokens everyone!
Here's one from Donald Groves Patrick that I love and wished I was able to acquire:
