Obituary for Carl Unger (major player in the toned lincoln cent realm)

Very sad news. M,Mayeda alerted me to this today. Carl maintained a registry set called Abe's Coloring Book which was ranked #1 for a few years in the Toned Lincoln Sets. I did a banner for him and a digital coinboard of his set at its peak.
His obituary is here:

Rest in peace my friend.

Sad news, indeed. I didn't know the man, but he clearly had a great eye for toned Lincolns and really enjoyed collecting them.
RIP, Mr. Unger.
RIP, Mr. Unger. That is a very nice collection he had, and it was nice of you to make the poster for him.

RIP Sir.
For dedicated collectors of coins who devote years and decades to the hobby, one can get out of "it" so many things that are positive in nature (including assembling a collection of coins one by one that when exhibited draws attention as those in Abe's Coloring Book have done). Definitely a collection that brought Mr. Unger much joy and pleasure putting it together.
RIP my coin brother.
That toned Lincoln set is gorgeous.
Prayers go out to his family. Carl assembled a great collection. One of his coins:
Sorry to hear it. He clearly was serious in his mission.
Sad news... RIP
