Received my New Walking Liberty Half GTG if you please

Sorry for the photos, but its the best I can do until a miracle happens and I can learn to operate my new camera, which is over my head. BTW, the lines in the right field are not from a wipe, this coin graded with no problems.

ms66 - the lines in the right field are really straight and go up to the devices, roller marks on planchet?

That's my thinking Dave. Not enough pressure during the strike to remove them from the planchet. It is kind of a weak strike, but a very beautiful coin, nonetheless. JMO

    MS65.
I think those are parallel die scratches.

I most certainly would not argue with you in this regard, it was just roller marks on the planchet was my first thought as they are so long and straight. You would far be better equipped with the knowledge to have an informed opinion. Thanks, Jim

Hard to evaluate from those photos. MS65 would be my best guess.

    No idea from the pics.

Pics are two different colors and obverse appears to have many hairlines though I’d assume they are on the holder rather than the coin.

Very nice WLH... I was going to guess 65, but not surprised at 66... pictures are always tricky. Cheers, RickO

    I agree. But I don't think it's 66 nice. I say 65. What do I know? I collect Buffs.
