Here's a coin not often seen in a HA weekly auction - round Pan Pac!

Worthy of a Platinum night auction - seller in a hurry?? Last sold for $150k.

"My friends who see my collection sometimes ask what something costs. I tell them and they are in awe at my stupidity." (Baccaruda, 12/03).I find it hard to believe that he (Trump) rushed to some hotel to meet girls of loose morals, although ours are undoubtedly the best in the world. (Putin 1/17) Gone but not forgotten. IGWT, Speedy, Bear, BigE, HokieFore, John Burns, Russ, TahoeDale, Dahlonega, Astrorat, Stewart Blay, Oldhoopster, Broadstruck, Ricko, Big Moose.

    Cool.

    The ‘Simpson’ non-CAC 65 PCGS sold 156k in 2020

    The ‘Pogue’ non-CAC 65 PCGS sold 192k in 2020

And based on other sales of the round per Coinfacts it would seem that a CAC bean on one is tougher to find ...

Wish I had that kind of spare cash....instead, I'll just have to stick to radiation morgans! :)

these commems are among the coins that have always intrigued me, they are a coin everybody seems to "want" but that nobody seems to keep, at least not for long. I checked the Heritage archives really quick and found more than 70 listings dating back 20-25 years for the round slug, maybe more for the octagonal. also, owners don't seem to ever be content with the encapsulated grade of these, logical since the regrade fee is low compared to the upside. there were supposedly 483 round coins issued, yet between PCGS and NGC there are 825 listed in their pop reports.

these actually sell more often than people would think. at Heritage alone I'd say they average listing one for sale about every for months, way, way more often than some much rarer medals that I'm trying to locate. and that's only one auction site. I think if you want one you'll be able to find one..........................at Heritage maybe in May!!! :p

I wish I could count on that for things I'm trying to find. B)

I was hoping that would go under the radar so I could get it for cheap!

Keets - agree - sort of like the 1879 Stella's (flowing hair). Unusual for an auction to happen w/o one or more.
