Looks like a Lamintion to me. Nickel is in rough shape. But it's a different. At least I think it's a Lamintion.

Think I should take a break from CHR. lol what do you all think about this 1985 Its not listed in Brian's variety. But the doubling on the Top of Monticello is Crazy Doubled. Help appreciated

The '85 'looks like' ejection doubling... and the '53 looks like PMD..... Cheers, RickO

Ejection Doubling? That's the first I've heard of that. You said looks on Both of them. How sure are you. I have no problem sending them back to the bank. :)

Wait for another opinion on the '85, but pretty sure on the '53. Cheers, RickO

The 85 looks like Mechanical Doubling (also called Strike, machine, and ejection doubling)

I think the 53 could be a minor lamination/defective planchet, but wouldn't argue too much if the consensus was PMD
