Identifying the Models on US Mint Coins

Here is one. Just a tidbit I found on who is the model that posed for the portrait on the 2019 American Liberty high relief gold coin and the 2019 American Liberty high relief silver medal.

    Interesting information @DrDarryl ... Though I believe it must be a headdress due to the fact that the back of her head is covered/truncated...rays of light would not do that. Beautiful lady. Cheers, RickO

    Design inspiration is often close by, one needs to just notice it. Very nice. Has the mint ever tried to do a straight on full face portrait design? Peace Roy

    Not that I'm aware of Liberty, if that's what you are asking — but, many of the presidential dollars have full-face designs, as does one of the Jefferson nickel versions. None of which are particularly interesting, IMO, and others have even called them creepy.

    Nothing is as expensive as free money.

    The Saint Gaudens double eagle has a front view of Ms. Liberty's face, though that portion of the coin is only a relatively small amount of the space within the coin.
