Hello, could you tell me if this 1958D wheat penny has any value other than nominal.

    It's actually kind of cool to find one of these late date 50's Lincolns in a worn state. Yet, yeah, no real value outside of that.
    -Excellent photography though.

    I understand my friend, I was struck by the fact that the word "e pluribus unum" cannot be read but I suppose it is due to wear and tear.

    I see that now. Partially filled (probably grease) die. Neat coin. Sadly, even if it was more predominate the green verdigris takes away the added value.

    Maybe wear, maybe a debris filled die error. Even if it's a filled die, it's very minor (I would have missed it if you hadn't pointed it out) and adds no additional value.
