i bought many of my 100 plus CAC gold stickered slabs from Heritage Auctions nearly a decade ago when the biggest hoarder of the gold stickered slabs dumped them all on the market at depressed prices. Sad to see him dump them when he overheard a few dealers snicker at his acquiring them as if he did not know what he was doing. Admittedly,,most of my cAC gold stickered slab are more common coins as well but with a few scarcer coins but more importantly with older and rarer PCGS and NGC slabs including nearly a dozen black NGC slabs of which only two or three are gold stickered
Seth is the man. I love his passion and how he built his business. Back when it was in the old school San Fran building and he employed serval enthusiasts I visited with a buddy while traveling and I bought an old Brazilian 960 Reis that I later gifted to the Brazilian ambassador to the US at a dinner. On that note Seth is both an ambassador for our hobby and an important dealer. He really just loves coins even though he could make more money doing many other things. Respect
I wish I swam in the deeper end of pool for some of his coins. That gold slug would look nice in the box of 20
Most of my certified NGC and PCGS coins are CAC green bean. Question I have is do you think a CAC Gold coin should still CAC green after regrade at next level up ? I have one that did so it was probably worth it to regrade.

It absolutely should. When CAC applied the gold, they thought it was undergraded by at least 1 point.

Can someone post the video for those of us without Instagram and Facebook accounts?
You can click the link to watch it even if you don’t have an Instagram account.
Thanks, but I tried again on my iPad, and I can’t view it.

Hmmmm, that’s interesting. I am able to watch it on an iPhone without any social media apps or accounts. Perhaps someone else knows how to embed the video into a post here? I think @U1chicago might know how.

Let's see if this works (I'm using a different link)...edit: it might not since this is an "IGTV" clip (an extened Instagram video as opposed to a normal quick video)

Most likely a gold CAC would not receive a green CAC after a regrade up. It's highly unlikely that a gold CAC would receive a green CAC the next grade up. That's assuming the original grade was way off.

Love Seth and enjoyed his presentation at last years FUN luncheon. I still don't see the allure of owning a 38-D Buff with a gold sticker.
