I knew about die collectors but can't honestly say I'm familiar with Feeder Finger collectors

Finger Feeder anyone?
It's interesting...and is $7,500 about right?!

Admittedly I may have missed an original post a year or two ago when that other grading company certified this...I was certainly confused for a moment when it popped up in my error coins search lol.

Really?? I did not know people collected feeder fingers. Where would one look for them?? Is there really a market for these? Worth the expense of slabbing?? I have so many questions..... :# Cheers, RickO

Expect Chinese counterfeits soon if there actually is a market for these

Seems that $15,000 of feeder fingers would be worth grading?! ...$25,000 in PCGS holders?

Sure, they’re mildly interesting as part of the process but I wouldn’t pay more than a couple of bucks for one. You could get a machine shop to fabricate one easily enough.

That was my immediate thought, how could these be authenticated?

I would think only if someone was there to certify where the machinery came from. Otherwise it would be questionable, even if everyone was above board and did everything well.

There are a decent number of
