Want to grade this 1894-O Morgan?

I picked this up today from a longtime album collection. My photo's are just good enough to play guess the grade I think...
At some point I will send it off to PCGS.

AU50 but it’s got a lot of hits. I think it would be a waste of money to have it graded. It’s a $150 coin in or out of the holder.

53 tops. Good looking coin.

55 and you could get lucky with a 58. It's got the usual flat strike. Despite the hits and hairlines I don't see the luster breaks to warrant 53 or lower.

All fair guesses. I grade it AU53 and have the benefit of having it in hand. I'm hopeful for a 55 at our hosts if the person viewing it has had their coffee that morning. Thanks for playing!

Weakly struck, surface wear looks AU58, I would guess 55.
53, shot 55....
maybe a 30% chance.
Gonna roll the bones?
I agree with the 53. Good luck if you gamble.

AU -53-55, I would not bother submitting it... unless you are looking to a future sale...Cheers, RickO

I would keep it raw- a Morgan collector would enjoy this one in the album of their choice. I really do not see a compelling reason to grade this. There is a financial risk if the coin comes back in a 45 holder. I tend to see this as a typical 94-o with a below average strike and likely squeaks into the AU50 realm

Gotta say AU50 and I'm bookmarking this thread so I can claim my prize

AU55. 94-Os are often pancakes, and this is no exception.
