Years ago, I received a 55 gallon drum of chemicals to treat our cooling towers. The bill was for over 3k and the list of ingredients included 92% inert ingredients. When I had a chance to visit with the Companies Owner and ask him about it, he explained that it was water to carry the active chemicals. He told me they don't like to use the term water or H2O, preferring to call the inert ingredients "profinol".

Only an extremely wealthy collector can afford the 1933 G$10 or 1933 G$20. For the vast majority of collectors, the 1932 G$10 is the last classic gold coin that is collectable for them

I'd be shocked if that were the case. And regardless of who's offering those items for sale, since the replica documents aren't being offered separately, it's inaccurate to state that they're “selling” at a specific price.

I didn't get any email offer. I wonder if it's an outfit using a name similar to Collector's Universe? In any case, I'd be very wary of clicking any links on that offer without more detail.

It's probably an email from CU but from another outfit. They send them out every now and then.
Not an item that interests me. I have some collectible gold, but have focused on bullion for many years... well, until the price of gold made my stacks pure profit. Cheers, RickO

PCGS price guide on my 1932 MS63 is $1500.
So it turns out that the price guide value mentioned in the opening post was incorrect. As was the statement that the replica documents were selling for $600. And my guess is that Collectors Universe wasn't/isn't doing the selling.

Did you check the price guide or are you just going off other posts? You are always very quick to offer opinions and it is good your signature line clarifies that they are yours.
You need to refresh the cell phone price guide, this is shown in browser.
Actually, PCGS stopped supporting the mobile price guide app long ago. I don't think you will be able to get updated prices from it. Notice the message that shows at the top when you open the app.
Just checked mine since it was still installed, your price listed is from Jan 2020

I would think that 'Collectors Universe' getting in the sales business would pose quite a conflict......
It's going to cost more than $1500 for a 1933 Eagle. Unless that's just the monthly payment for the next 100 years...
It's probably an email from CU but from another outfit. They send them out every now and then.

Whole thing looks a little "Home Shopping Network" to me.

Where did you find the $900 figure?
So it turns out that the price guide value mentioned in the opening post was incorrect. As was the statement that the replica documents were selling for $600. And my guess is that Collectors Universe wasn't/isn't doing the selling.

Anyone else receive this email?
It would be worth checking who sent it.
So what's the email address that sent you that?
Collector, occasional seller

since it is coinadvisor and not CU, perhaps the title needs changing
as well as the "estimated" price...
Thank you - I appreciate that.
