Just saw his passing appear on Twitter.
Amazing guy and friend of the family for many decades. He will be missed.

Very few people have been so dedicated to the game. I was never a Dodgers fan, but you've got to tip your cap to guys like Lasorda and Vin Scully.
Baseball fans (and Italian restaurants in the LA area) are all a bit worse off today.
I loved Tommy. A real old school baseball lifer! I will honor him by posting one of my favorite audio clips of all time.

many fond memories visiting Dodgertown for spring training as a kid and seeing him around and talking baseball, he was always accessible and just loved talking. he would be sitting in the stands watching the players or driving around in his golf cart and jsut start up conversations of what he was seeing.
geez.
true legend, both on and off the field. never got to watch him play, but as a kid seeing him & the philly phanatic go at it was just as epic as the 86 canseco and 84 mattingly cards in my eye.
rip mr. lasorda.
Another sad day for baseball. I loved the Dodgers Yankees rivalries of the 70's.
Truly passionate for the Game.
Fond memories for ALL of us.
RIP Mr. Lasorda
RIP Tommy. Just a great guy and a sad day for baseball. I still remember seeing him in Vero Beach in 2008.
RIP Tommy

Wonderful ambassador for the game. That's for sure.
In 2018, I sent out to Tommy four different time and eventually I got a return. He signed my card and also sent a signed HOF plaque postcard which was neat. I was really happy to get it back. Now I have the card in a PSA holder and its certainly a staple in my PSA DNA collection. Thanks for the wonderful memories Tommy.
Got this I believe in 1990 Vero Beach
RIP Tom
