Hard for me to tell if the proofs would make Cameo in a holder (I'm guessing not) but they all look good, I'm sure the price was right, and to get some cameoing (cameoness? just cameo?) on the proofs is really nice.
I had a chance to buy a 4th Benjamin. The 1949p "Bugs Bunny" variety. The reason I didn't. The coin was cleaned. Do you guy's think I should still pick it up? Clearly the variety. She wants, $20. Very good condition. The fields look very nice and nic free? I do realize it is a problem coin but at the same time, it's the first year for the variety, the Bugs Bunny! Thanks

...great pictures man...I can almost see the dandruff on Big Ben
I think Bugs’ are underrated. If it’s UNC Details, $20 might not be bad. If she doesn’t have anything you like better for $20, then go for it.
Dip the bottom one. Thanks!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
The '62 might go CAM.... I do not think it is a good idea to buy a known cleaned coin, especially a minor variety. It will always be a cleaned coin and there are good one's available for reasonable prices... Cheers, RickO

I think you should do whatever makes you happy.
if it was me, I wouldn't have touched any of the three you bought or the one you're considering, I would have held my cash. to my way of thinking, it is difficult enough to manage(and eventually sell) a collection which is well-assembled and narrowly focused. a hodge-podge of low grade, minor varieties and curiosities never ends well at the point of sale. the latter generally upholds the thinking that less can be more.
First the 1962 PF.
Second the 1954 PF.
Is this called trail die?

Then third the 1957 "Bugs Bunny" Variety?

--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line. The 62 definitely is, has a few light scratches, and somehow some reed marks(?)... but I'm sure it didn't cost him much. It does have nice contrast.
I don't know if I would call the 54 impaired, it certainly needs conservation but I don't see anything that would details it. I would try MS70 on it and see if it removes the haze or whatever is on it.

I haven't heard that term, but I'm pretty sure that's just an artifact of the way they refinished and polished the dies. Same thing with the "scratches" on Ben and the bell.

I don't know what is going on on the cheek on the 54. There are lines. Maybe it's on the holder.
Yeah guys, I tried ms 70, no real improvement. Oh well, thanks.

The lines aren't on the holder.
I paid $12

I'm betting they are raised. Early 50's proof dies got the "wire brush treatment"

Here's a PR68 that I grabbed from coinfacts with similar marks.
Depending on how you take the photo they can really stand out.
Zoom in- might even be from the same die pair.

on early 1950's Proofs those can be die polish or hairlines as a result of being scratched by the brittle cello pouches the coins were placed in. look at it closely with a loupe and you should see the difference.
