Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Our hosts even labeled it as a Cheerios cent. What gives ?
I see issues in the titles but not in the slab. I guess he just recycled/copied his Cheerios listing.
What gives is the way you list coins on ebay. If you want to sell a coin it gives you the already sold template of similar coins to choose from. So if a Cheerios cent popped up, and the seller did not erase it from the template - its stays on the listing. Its the same reason you see astronomical amounts listed for a 1944 cent, etc. If a previous seller sold 1944 STEEL cent for a million, that template pops up. An unknown seller seems only a 1944 cent listed for a million and thinks thats what I got and all of a sudden you got a common worn copper cent with a riduculaous starting bid.

Wow... Probably @WaterSport has the correct answer, because certainly there were only one run of Cheerio cents.
Cheers, RickO
The 2000's actually are Cheerios - Seems like a great price - I could be wrong.
Only the 2000's are labeled Cheerios.
