Is this an actual 1804 Large cent? What do you think?

The coin has corrosion so its tough for me to see if that last digit is an actual 4, although it has a pointed end. More experienced members and better eyes here, do you this guy is an actual 1804 large cent? Any input would be really helpful and educative for the rest of us!

Knowing the shape of the four, I'm not seeing the thick vertical part. Peace Roy

In one photo it appears to be an 1802, in another 1801. I do not know the diagnostics though for an 1804 large cent. I would not buy it. Another coin that needs PCGS or NGC verification. Anything else is pure conjecture. JMHO.
Looks like a 1801 to me.

All 1804 large cents were struck from a single die pair.
The Ebay coin does not have the proper reverse, so it's not a genuine 1804.
Compare the letter positions relative to the leaves of the wreath:
It looks like 1802 to me.
Years ago Conder101 taught me to examine the top-of-the-head hair bumps relative to the letters of LIBERTY. It's how we were able to prove an NGC-graded one I bought was fake.
Seller's coin does not match an 1804. @Walkerguy21D proved it clearly with the reverse.
Lance.
Thanks Lance.
I only wish I was skillful enough to post the EBay coin alongside the real one like you did, or overlay the two reverses.
The starkest contrast of reverse letters against the leaves is probably the A in AMERICA (though there are many more).
Lance.
Thanks; the E and S in STATES rotating clockwise also jumps out at me.
It looks like an 1802 to me.... the above diagnostics eliminate the '04.... Cheers, RickO
Gone.
eBay removed the listing.
