It’s interesting. The concept is “the working man of 1940” and what he may have carried. $2.96 back then would have been gotten you pretty far.
I doubt the working man of 1940 was carrying a Morgan $

Imagine if something happened to you and you had no identification on you? Just this obsolete coinage.
They would assume you are a time traveler for sure.

Do you carry it all at once, just one piece and change it daily?
Me? I can’t stand anything in my pockets for very long. Even at work I throw my keys on my desk. I carry my wallet, front left pocket. ( it’s very bad for your back to sit on your wallet) and a bic and chap stick in my right.

Weight? I wear American Made clothing, frequently vintage, it can take the weight as the pants are a higher rise and sit where pants are supposed to. One thing I have noticed....the Walkers have fully retained that dark shadow recesses. The 1901 IHC has the most visible wear, very much brighter flats of the portrait and rims. So the IHCs today we have in circulated condition have browned down from how they looked as “active” pocket change.
It’s not too much, probably just right. You have to have enough so they hit each other and wear down properly. Here’s the 3 I’m currently carrying around.
I’ve been carrying these ones off and on over the past 15 years or so. I keep losing one or more of them and finding them again later. I probably have old pictures of them somewhere on a thumb drive, I wish I could find them. Someday I’ll find all my old pictures.
I think the human being is benefited by the inevitable absorption of handling the Silver in coinage. Think of the tons of it that wore off all our silver coinage ? Matter is neither created or destroyed. Food for thought.....

If I posted what I carry in my pockets every day many here would have a stroke it seems.
There must have been a reason to carry all of those coins. Rehabilitation from cleaning?
Pretty quick it'll be eating through your pants pocket.
