1936d 3 and one half legged buffalo nickel, lowball specimen for sure, agree with the grade?

Here is a 36-d three and one half legged buffalo nickel that must be the absolute lowball graded specimen
Do you agree with the good-04 grade??

Looks to be an AG at best. Under the circumstances the grade doesn't surprise me at all, tho.

    Looks AG-3 to me.

    Retail in GOOD-04 is $350-$400. I wouldn't give $100 for that one.

Heartily agree with koyneqwest on that one! And the D appears to be obliterated so the label should read
1936-(D) instead of 1936-D. You don’t really need to see the mintmark to identify the coin, the leg will do fine.
Kind of like identifying the year just buy look at the raised ground on the 13 type one buff.

I agree with the grade... at least from what I can see....pictures are not quite the same as in hand. Cheers, RickO

If this coin were even graded Fa02 I cannot see many people making an argument with that.
(considering that the mint mark looks to be illegible.)

Here is a PCGS GOOD-04. Clearly the subject coin doesn't make the grade in my opinion.

Only a Good 4? Seriously undergraded in my opinion.

Yes, a nice good-six it is.

I would agree that the 1917 is better than GOOD 04. It's from PCGS "Photograde." The date is too strong for that grade. I could also see a Fair grade for the '36-D. It sure as hell isn't a GOOD 04.

OK, maybe not "seriously undergraded" but I'd give it a VG-8 anyway.

With a full date it would grade G-6.
