Another Medal question

I have this medal and was looking for more information about it, how many were made, etc. but have found nothing so far. Fred Dennet was the 32nd Commissioner of the General Land Office and that's about it If you have an information I would appreciate, Thanks in advance.

From the auction:
‘I did a little digging into the history of the company as that's the fun part of this job. Jos K Davidson's Son is listed in "Alphabetical List of Foreign Corporations Registered Under The Requirements of the Act of June 8, 1911, During The Two Years Ending May 31, 1915." It noted that the company incorporated there on Feb. 25, 1915 with $75,000 in capital. It was a manufacturer and dealer in silverware, jewelry, clocks, ornaments and pictures. Further research revealed that it made objects including gold pendants for the Grand Army of the Republic. The company also appears to have been involved in making some World War I medals “

Sounds a little slow.
I was wondering if you had the box if a different name was on it...
Good luck with the grades.
