Before the BLM there was the United States General Land Office.... Centennial Celebration Medal

This is an obscure but still very cool Medal to Celebrate the Centennial of the Organization of United States General Land Office. I absolutely love the Eagle depiction and wish I knew who did the engraving.
Such a wonderful design,I thought to share this good size (2") Bronze Medal today with all of you.

Nice medal. BLM is a four-letter word here in the west. Especially when you consider how they do "Controlled" burns here. If it says controlled, they are Out-of-Control.
That is a nice eagle. Looks like Morgan’s work to me. Look at the eagle’s head.

. Boy that would be fantastic if it was! It certainly is a beautiful design and the Eagle's head does look very close to the Morgan Dollars.
