If Sark is going to Texas, that could hurt Bama.
I agree if he leaves prior to the game. Is he? BTW - He is not a fit for UT IMO. He's a very good to great OC, but not fit to be a great HC which is what the people in Austin expect. He'll fall flat. Just my feeling based upon his track record. AS an OU fan, I am SUPER happy that the Horns didn't somehow lure Meyer down there.
Ohio State has only had to play seven games. It's like mid season for them in normal times. Alabama has had a regular season. They should be more beaten up, but they aren't. It should be an interesting shoot-out. Ohio and Clemson had a shoot-out early, but then Clemson ran out of bullets.

Ole Miss (4-5) beat Indiana (6-1) in a very good game.
How did the Rebels get in a bowl with a losing record?
Kiffin might be the next Bama coach when Saban retires.
There was a team with a losing record in the Duke’s Mayonnaise Bowl too. Maybe some teams turned down the bowl bids because of Coved.

Every team was Bowl eligible this year. And the bowls needed teams.
I'm pretty sure that was a scud missile aimed in the direction of our resident Big Ten fanboy. How did a sub .500 SEC team beat a Top Ten and Big Ten team.....

Well, the Big Ten team was kinda missing their do-everything quarterback...

I think you can heavily discount non final four bowl games altogether the past few years now that star players opt out so not to get injured ( can't blame them). Plus this year just about everyone was affected by Covid at some point during the season which had a direct effect on outcomes and where teams finished. It is what it is.

I’ll give you 50 to 1 on kiffin becoming head coach at Bama.
