Why not just contact the seller and have him fix it?

The Item specifics are (mostly) correct. It's just an oversight.

I contacted the seller and pointed out the error.

The seller messaged me right back and said he'd fix it.

    Thanks for your help @jmlanzaf
I sell a little on Ebay and am not immune to missing some details.

I suspect it was an innocent mistake but the bidder is overpaying on a coin with a mechanical error on the label. If no bids I would have contacted seller.

IGC slabs are not approved to be listed on Ebay.

Intentional subterfuge to bypass Ebay rules on certified coins for sale.

This is inaccurate. ICG IS allowed on ebay as is ANACS slabbed coins. I am also even more skeptical of intent, because of his rapid response to Jim yet the listing is still in place and inaccurate

@davids5104 "yet the listing is still in place and inaccurate"

This may have been a problem caused by using the "sell similar"
Once it has a bid the seller is no longer able to change the title.
This is up to the buyer & seller to work things out.
If you are that worried about protecting the buyer you can bid to win and cancel the sale.
This would not prevent the seller from sending a second chance offer.
Best to just move on....you can't fix all the messed up listings on ebay. ;)

He might not be near a computer. I would give him a little time. Technically, the only thing that is inaccurate in the listing is that the Header says PCGS instead of ICG.

And the Item specifics indicate "Proof" strike.

Actually, it looks like the bid was canceled by the seller who ended the auction.

Idk. It was retracted and the listing ended within about 15 minutes. Don't know. Might have requested it. It's impossible to change the listing if there is a bid on it.

It's been relisted with "ICG" in the title instead of PCGS. Otherwise the same.

So even though he corrected the listing with the TPG now corrected as ICG, no mention is made that the label incorrectly is calling the coin as Mint State, when it’s a Proof coin worth substantially less!

Good point, Steve. Someone just messaged the seller and told him the coin is a Proof and that an honest seller would point that out in the description.😉

Seems the seller does not understand much about coins.... at best. Cheers, RickO
