I am so excited a friend has a passed down collection! Pics added

As stated been looking at some of them ASE so far just reg stuff a lot of bullion and one 1923 peace dollar. I will post what we get after looking at rest today and tomorrow. Lots of small denomination silver to go through yet. Woot best Christmas fun ever for me lol!
Edit: Just wanted to say I found a lot of fake stuff also and plated, he was upset about this thought I was wrong lol but a stuck magnet don't lie. Its hard to deal with people that think they have gold but really don't! How do you dealers deal with it?
Just a random pic of me and my Dad when i was younger 1975ish. We were born patriotic !

@Attumra... I am not a dealer, but as a long time collector, I have had several people bring me fake - or low value - coins, believing they had treasure. Yes, they do not believe you at first, some get angry.... even when you show them clearly that their coin is not what they thought, some think you are trying to cheat them. No one likes to be conned... Do it gently, but with clear evidence (such as the magnet). One guy never spoke to me again....but he knew I was right after two other shop dealers told him the same thing. Cheers, RickO
Yeah I showed him the magnet and weight on real verse not. He's a high school friend known each other for years and hang about every week so even though he got a little mad , I think in the end he realized yes there is a difference. Either way was not prepared for that response lol.
Now that I think about it probably was mainly grief with the passing of his father.
So here's what I got so far! Pic's from phone so sorry for images , I will post better ones if anyone wants to see. Just let me know. God this is fun to search, I still have boxes of errors coins and reg ones to go through. Nothing major so far other then a 1995 penny with the 9 and 5missing parts and does not look like PMD Ill post pic after , Its also has a die crack on reverse. Enjoy
Looks like bullion, nice bullion, but bullion.
Die crack?
Yes, this would be a lot of fun, even if most of the pieces are common. What kind of fakes did you find?
If he paid $6.00 or $8.00 an ounce for silver he made out quite well if he sells now. The current price of silver is over $24.00 per ounce.
I have like 2 box's (those foot longish ones that hold the cardboard holders full with me and he has more silver to go through(quarters dimes etc.) and a nickel album from 1938 to date he said full also a lot of wheat pennies. The fake ones were only bullion that were plated and stuck to magnet, one was a George bush and other I did not recognize as main stream coins.
almost all are coins? like ASE, peace, Canadian $5, 3 dimes , Mexican coin
Only 3 are bullion or am I wrong?
1995 penny with die crack and Pmd on date?
@Attumra I think they are saying the common coins are worth the value of the metal they’re made of. So coins, yes, but bullion value.
Looks like tons of fun to go through.
Hope you find some gems.
I don't really know much about grading but are these WR worth grading 1979 ? I suppose a 65 or better would be needed? Ty
I'll try post better pics when I get back home
Love the history, and the family images are the best!
Nice older libertad, they typically have a premium.
