Lots of great RBs not in HOF. Ottis Anderson and Tiki Barber were runners up for me.

I think my runner up for QB would be Steve Mcnair. loved watching him play

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I had forgotten how big Christian Okoye was, man I wouldn't want to try to tackle him. He is built like a truck.

Edited to add: A freakin truck!

Steve Atwater wasn't afraid to stand in front of a truck

I am pretty sure he is wearing a neck roll under that jersey too.

Steve Atwater was a beast. That reminds me a little bit of when Jack Tatum stood in front of Earl Campbell.

Earl didn’t go down. He was just on a completely different level lol

tell you what, Earl Campbell was a full grown man.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

  • doubledragondoubledragon Posts: 23,269 ✭✭✭✭✭

Yes, Earl was on another level. This is one of the most entertaining runs I've ever seen and it shows you what a beast he was.

I remember watching him as a kid and absolutely remember his shirt being ripped off by would be tacklers. Give me Barry Sanders and Earl Campbell and my backfield is SET!!!

I hear you brother, that would be my backfield as well. Barry would run around you, and Earl would run over you!

One of the most exciting things about Randall Cunningham was his ability to extend plays. The tackler should have had him in this play, but Randall was able to use his abilities to extend the play and throw the TD pass.

Yes indeed, I tried to find a better gif, but the older NFL footage can be quite grainy. It's frustrating.

Yep, I love 1950’s football and it’s tough to find a lot of footage let alone quality. NFL Films has a lot of good stuff from the late 60’s and on though

Another running back not in the HOF that could be a beast at times was Steven Jackson. He was with the Rams years, and then with the Falcons. He wasn't afraid to lower the boom.

everyone goes on about Mahomes, but I havent seen him do anything Randall couldnt do. we have to keep in mind that pats WR will be open more because of rule changes

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Cunningham MUCH more of a runner. He did have that one great year here in Minnesota. The Vikings should have won it all that year, but their "All World" offense did nothing in the 2nd half against Atlanta.

It looks to me that Mahomes is a much better passer. Cunningham never in the top 5 completion %.

Too early to make any kind of useful comparison, but I would assume Pat will never be allowed to run like Randall was.

Lots of good players not in the hall. I'd go with these guys though. It's a shame Jerry Smith still isn't in the hall. He was one of the best tights ends of all time.

    QB- Randall Cunningham
    RB- Corey Dillon
    RB- Shaun Alexander
    WR- Torry Holt
    WR- Anquan Boldin
    WR- Brandon Marshall
    TE- Jerry Smith
