Is Doug Pederson really stepping down after the 2020 season? I'm getting mixed reports here.

Unless he gets fired first?
Maybe Carson Wentz could become the player/coach?
I don’t think Philadelphia is a bad place to coach. The team has the pieces in place but the injury bug has bitten the especially hard the last 3 years. Carson Wentz needs a QB whisperer and maybe Pederson isn’t it.
The worst job opening has to be Houston. No draft choices, aging stars (JJ Watt) with huge contracts, injury concerns to name just one. The no draft choices to try to build a team you want is a huge concern.
I don’t think there’s any doubt Adam Gase will be gone before the draft. Who they hire might be the deciding factor if Lawrence comes out. Jim Harbaugh is rumored to be on hire lists. Bieniemi and Dabol are on the short lists. If an offensive genius takes the Jets helm Lawrence comes out. That leaves Darnold to Chicago, Jacksonville or even NE.
I believe Doug Marone and Gardner Minchew are on their way out in Jacksonville so a lot of off season decisions are coming. Should be an interesting time.

Do you want to replace the Jets next season?
The Jets can’t lose 32 in a row, can they?
