I'm on day 3 without a USPS scan on my package... I'm such a lightweight. but it is allegedly somewhere in CT where I am. It should have only take the one day for it as most, but not all, packages take. (some take 2)
did have a Mint shipping notice last night that, for once, did just sit in UPS pre-shipment overnight. we'll see tonight if it gets scanned as picked up.
it's going to be a bad Christmas for some kids out there. but it's a Covid Christmas. Can't complain.
I'm not sure I started to complain but instead join in on the late parade. it is something to talk about, and it'd be interesting to find out who has had the longest traveled package, the longest time for the shortest distance and the langest delay overall.
I'm a loser with just a 3.5 days in CT with no scans. so close yet so far. best I got folks.

Ordered a pair of jeans from LA, shipped Priority on Nov. 16. Arrived in my city in the SF Bay Area three days later (per tracking), and still hasn't been delivered. I filed a missing mail inquiry, went to my local PO (twice), and they're completely useless.
I’ve got a package coming from Michigan (I’m in CA) shipped on Dec 7. Tracking today, 4 days later shows it has arrived at a post office 6.8 miles from where it started. At the rate of speed this is going (rounded at 2 miles per day) it will take over 1200 days to go the remaining 2400 miles.

My Priority Express mailed Saturday for Monday delivery, finally showed up Thursday afternoon. This is nerve-racking when items are expensive and there is not much information available, other than "in-transit".

I opened a case into a package going to Alabama. If you are sending a package to Alabama from out of state, expect it to be majorly delayed. It's back open, but they are a week or 2 behind and hopefully at some point things will catch up.
I’ve completely stopped buying coins the last few months. Great Collections, David Lawrence and others PAY FOR and even clearly write signature required. 11 packages (two over $10K) just left in my Mail box out on the curb. This despite my complaining loudly to the post master.
There is no pattern as to what and when Priority Mail is getting delivered. I have items shipped 7 days ago still undelivered located just one hour away from me and others shipped to Texas that arrived in 3 days🙄

Amazon is forecasting delivery dates much further out than they historically have. I suppose they are trying to manage that expectation up front when you make the purchase.
If it’s any consolation, this package magically appeared out of nowhere and was delivered to the eastern time zone today! 👍🏻
This is exactly what happened to a package delivered to me yesterday. Label created on Nov 25 in transit since Nov 29. Nothing showed on tracking. No out for delivery etc. Bingo came yesterday.
Folks be aware that ebay's tracking is not always keeping up with the USPS. I sometimes copy the tracking number + check on the USPS and it will be further along with the usual your package is on the way but is arriving late.
I've have 1 shipment that ebay still shows USPS is awaiting your package and it stalled about 5 days after moving twice and now says arriving late.
Just had 1 1st class finally deliver like that that took 14 days. I also have a priority mail that's on day 10 and still not moving since Dec. 3rd.
The craziness continues. Package took 4 days to ship from Maryland to Oregon but packages shipped 7 days ago still not delivered to location in Maryland less than 1 hour away. I can't deliver to buyers close to me because Amazon won't pay you unless you post tracking numbers🙄
More importantly, I was in a long line at my post office today watching poor souls picking out Priority Mail boxes to ship their loved ones Christmas gifts. I was able to convince one to ship it Express but others still chose cheaper hoping it would arrive in time. You just can't help some people 🎄🎄🎄🤔🤔🤔
There have been some really weird locations showing up, some of which I'm sure are completely erroneous. For example, I had a package moving around the East coast and then it was suddenly in California, except it probably wasn't, because it was delivered in NJ the following day.
Friend of mine recently had his package scanned delivered and THEN at the sorting facility.
I also had a friend have a package which, when he typed in the tracking number, jumped to a different tracking number that he received exactly one year earlier.
