@Namvet69 I don't know the market on these types and not sure if I overpaid or not. I did paid $25 on each, prices goes up for higher denomination or if you want 2003 statehood coins. Image of coins is still visible on waffled coins except the blank planchet. Seller also sends DVD history of USMint waffled coins which is a surprise to received and very interesting to learned.
Thanks.

They have some patterns that are still discernible after the Waffle House treatment that were found in the discards. Martha dollars I seem to recall

Interesting, seen them before but hadn't thought much. What kind of value do they have? Peace Roy

I like them but worry about authenticity. I am not certain that the machines are unique to the mint. (Or are they?).

I don't think I would enjoy being run over by a waffle machine. And I like waffles.
I've seen these in PCGS holders before, pretty cool!

Agree these are neat coins! I have a bunch.
I love this holder the most because of the photo:
The seller also have NGC & PCGS holder of waffled coins. I like the idea of a mini history & photo of the coin.

There's some nice info and photos here:

Imagine collecting a full set!
Here's a set in a multi-holder too!
I have not seen one of those in a coinstar reject bin yet....
Cheers, RickO
That waffle machine looks medieval. @JBK makes a good point about that cancellation design integrity. Hmmm?

They are 'commercially' available, but probably very expensive. I do not know if there are different designs on crushed coins.
