My vote for "best buy then" in light of today's values is the 1884-S Morgan in BU for $45.

I remember that place. Much of what some of these places offered was overgraded and/or cleaned.
The term "filler" hasn't been used for decades. It was commonplace back then.
Bob Ladum is in great physical condition and is still going full steam ahead in the coin business today. He does a lot of online business via eBay
