EF? AU? Perhaps I didn't make myself clear. I wanted opinions on the grade. I know the coin has been cleaned/dipped. New image.,

Thanks Gene.

    It looks cleaned.

My vote is for AU, cleaned. The picture is a bit blurry.

I can see dipped, not necessarily "cleaned".

It definitely looks like it was cleaned, in my opinion, as there appears to be some traces of luster remaining in the recesses of the lettering. Nonetheless, better photos would go a long way in making a better assessment of your coin.

My reason for cleaned: The coin looks to have little enough wear to still have luster, but I'm not seeing any.

I see plenty around the lettering, and there definitely appears to be some lighting artifact. Better pictures always good, but this coin is looking AUish IMO.

I'm not questioning the grade. Around the lettering, I'd agree there's some luster but the fields look awfully washed out.

I think the picture looks blurry because it has been whizzed!

you get an AU on this one. min EF 45. But NGC could be unpredictable :o
After playing with this coin and its exposure (photo), I will change my mind and say it could be a 55.

Cleaned, but no problem to replace at low cost
