1875-S 20C Die Crack fun

I was looking at this today and I never noticed the die crack. Quick research shows it is pretty common and no extra value but fun none the less. Also, a partially filled s/s?? There are fainter cracks other than the one across the top of United but are harder to make out. Part of me thinks there is a bit of evidence of a light cleaning but I’m not smart enough to make a definitive conclusion.

I like die cracks, because they are often easy to spot even on a well worn coin.
There are several cracked reverses on the 1875-S 20c.
You did not explicitly say that yours is BF-13, and I had fun finding it.

MS66 w/CAC. Only a few spindly die cracks here and there around the periphery on the reverse. The variety is BF-5.

Nice pick up
That is a nice example. I like it, cracks & all.

That reverse is interesting ... I magnified it to better see that 'line' that goes from behind the right leg, reappears under the wing, then again just below the T in United. Looks like a die gouge, but very straight. Cheers, RickO
But most importantly, does it get awarded the coveted @ricko Blast White sticker?

If there only was a reference that showed all those die cracks ...
Nice double dime. If it has been cleaned, it is not too obvious from the images.

Very nice coin. I feel bad for showing mine in public
Absolutely do NOT feel that way! EVERY coin has merits, and it's judged by what it is. People would sacrifice a lot to have that coin. It's truly gorgeous, and as i'm sure you know, a probelm free, super high eye appealing coin graded AU is highly sought after. That's a GREAT coin!
