For $27.95 you get one 2020 Unc. nickel and a goofy looking ornament.

How does this product get a kid to show an interest in coins?

For $32.95, you can get your kid a 1964 proof set with real silver coins.

I actually don’t mind the ornament. My problem is it is priced 2x what I would buy and the coin shouldn’t be a nickel. Maybe the liberty side of an innovation dollar or the eagle side of a half dollar.

Yeah. I'm not sure why they didn't use a less common coin.

Maybe the Mint is trying for a cent-imental ornament.

    Sorry, I could NOT resist.

The half dollar was last year's model. The 2019 ornament is still available for $3 less than the 2020.

Now if they made that nickel out of silver it would be more worth it. I didn’t realize last year was JFK. So I’ll go back to the liberty side of the innovation series.

My Christmas tree decorations (small tree) are all sentimental family heirloom type decorations. No moderns. Cheers, RickO

Heirloom type decorations have to start somewhere. I'm buying them for the little Hydrants. If they keep them and use them to decorate their Christmas trees when they get older then the decorations will become.....PRESTO!......family heirlooms.
