1994 D quarter DDO

Just found this in my change. The doubling is dramatic. What do you all think?

@SunsetAZ .... Welcome aboard. Please include pictures of the coin in question, with the area designated in an enlargement. Lots of people here willing to help...Cheers, RickO

They were already using "single squeeze" by this time so no die could be "doubled". It would have to be hub doubling if real but no others are reported.

The likeliest cause is erosion doubling which adds no value to the coin at this time These can be very deceptive some times. A picture would help.

A meaningless post unless you provide a picture so we can make a judgement.

Even without a photo, it's either mechanical doubling,
or die deterioration doubling (worn, overused die)
