Prices on Widgets seem to be falling

So I'll stumble upon widget type coins on eBay and throw up a low bid. I am surprised how many of these lower bids stick and I end up winning the coin. Now, super cool coins are still pricey- it is the common type stuff that seems to be selling at discount prices.
Here are two example, most recently:

This MS66 PCGS 1938-S Nickel was accepted by the seller at an counteroffer price of $19.00:

I know you can't depend on price guides, yet they still list this coin at about twice that (PCGS price guide).

I would think any graded MS66 silver Rosevelt is a good deal at this price (especially in MS66):https://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-D-10C-ROOSEVELT-DIME-NGC-MS66-RAINBOW-ONE-DOLLAR-START-NO-RESERVE-/254775539188?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=5%2BRrQV6p64%2BHhEuNT%2Frc8h%2BjI%2Bg%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
Yes, there is postage- yet still the price paid seems low.

Now, this one was just for fun. I like the toning and overall appearance of it and at the price, was a easy pick:https://www.ebay.com/itm/1969-S-Washington-25cent-NGC-PF-66/193575677541?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Again, just throwing up casual bids and finding more and more are closing out with these bids/prices becoming more of the norm than in days past.
