A Different Foreign Planchet Error

On these forums, we usually see US coins struck on foreign coin planchets so I thought it was neat to see a foreign coin struck on a US planchet!

Can you tell what US coin planchet this is struck on?

Should be struck on a 21 mm 70Cu18Zn12Ni planchet. I'm guessing it's struck on a US nickel planchet. Does it weigh 5.0 grams?

Looks like a copper nickel alloy....weight and dimensions would help. Cheers, RickO

As the Oldhoopster said, it's probably on a US Nickel planchet.

    It's a nickel planchet I'd assume.
