Molly Hatchet I had always tied together with Lynyrd Skynyrd. Then the Double Trouble Live album came out and it had Freebird on it. You could play that live version and tell someone it was LS and they would never know. Well I just checked and yes it is on the Tube. Here it is.

Molly Hatchet - Freebird https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7hXLRToNDI
When I was (much) younger I went to see Molly Hatchet open for Triumph at the Old Cleveland Coliseum. We were playing cards and listening to WMMS at 2 am and they said 10th caller would win 2 tickets to the concert. So my buddy called and actually won. Went to the Coliseum, picked up the tickets at the will call window and watched a free concert. Molly Hatchet was great - I remember this song the most out of all the ones they played...........
This was pretty much the same version I remember with the 3 guitarists jamming -
And to top things off - Roy Clark And Glenn Campbell - they were actually before my times but after studying music history these 2 were amazing......... here's a vid of them getting together and combining their talents......
Glenn Campbell may have been good but Roy Clark is on another level. Seemed to be an expert at multiple guitar types and styles along with the violin / fiddle.

Forgot about that one. It has been a long time since I had heard it. Good to hear again.
The 'critics' just didn't seem to agree with Boston at the time but I believe that first album is a classic now.

Just did a search on Marillion to see about them. This is the intro wiki had/has:
Marillion are a British rock band, formed in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1979. They emerged from the post-punk music scene in Britain and existed as a bridge between the styles of punk rock and classic progressive rock, becoming the most commercially successful neo-progressive rock band of the 1980s.

Okay now it is clear - ha.
Sound good though.
That was the old review when they were first starting out with Derick Dick AKA FISH the lead singer, he was a nutcase then they had a song writer that wasn't really understanding the band. When Steve Hogarth joined as the lead singer everything changed. He started writing the tunes as he was/is an amazing taLENT.........
@Coinscratch
After that first Robbie R I didn't have a clue what I would expect at a concert.
The 2nd one I said this is more of what it would be like. Interesting all the different music out there.

I am sure he is just tired from all the road travel.

I had no idea how much shameless promotion there would be. Now it's shame promotion and potentially flame worthy disaster.
