technical question regarding submission for grading of the End of WWII Gold V75 Eagle

I've been trying to get a definitive answer but PCGS customer service was overwhelmed and I couldn't find anything in their website faqs. I'm going to submit my gold v75 eagle for grading tomorrow and I need to know if I can open the mint issued packaging, inspect the encapsulated coin, and send the coin in without the OGP without affecting first strike status. I appreciate your help. thanks in advance.

I attempted to answer this question in another thread.

yes, thank you, I saw it and appreciate it.
From https://www.pcgs.com/firststrike
“The package mailed to PCGS must be postmarked before or on the PCGS cutoff date for that particular coin/issue. Only the coins need to be mailed to PCGS within the first 30 days of of issue.”
END OF WORLD WAR II 75TH ANNIVERSARY AMERICAN EAGLE SILVER (or gold) PROOF COIN
Monday 12/7
Other option is “ Submit the coins in the original unopened shipping box from the U.S. Mint with a postmark date prior to the specified PCGS cutoff date.”
