Balboa Bay Special Grading Event

Yesterday I went to the Balboa Bay Resort in Newport Beach. PCGS has onsite grading available this week and Stacks Bowers has lot viewing for their upcoming auction.
The Balboa Bay Resort is a lovely hotel situated on the bay. Prior to entering the room to submit coins my temperature was taken and I had to sign a liability release form. Masks were mandatory. I submitted a few coins. I was the only person submitting coins at the time. PCGS was kind enough to provide snacks outside overlooking the pool. There were perhaps a dozen people sitting outside. It appeared like some dealer to dealer business was being conducted.
After submitting I went to the adjacent room, where Stacks was having lot viewing. Reservations were required but I was allowed to view since nobody else was there at the time. From what I could gather Stacks was busy showing coins and I happened to show up at a very slow time. Looking at coins with a mask and glasses on and attempting to use a loupe is not an easy task. My glasses kept fogging up and after getting frustrated I decided to call it quits. My decision was made easier because I wasn’t going to bid on anything.

@skier07 .... Thanks for the report.... I suggest you try some of the 'Anti Fog' spray. I got some since I had a problem with the mask/glasses situation at work.... It works very well...no more fogged lenses. Cheers, RickO
Thanks for the suggestion. I normally don’t wear glasses. The only time I do is when I’m looking at coins so this was a new phenomenon to me.
