I replaced my displayed graded us & foreign coins with these medals and can only accommodate half the collection.

    Far more interesting than a display of slabs!

    Beautiful!

    Thanks for sharing.

    I love these. Until a few years ago, my collecting interests never would have included these medals. But thanks to seeing a lot of medals here, I took an interest. Though I don't have any yet, I enjoy posts like this. You have some great medals. And your display is very nice.

    I hope your thread is open for additional contributions.

    You have been the inspiration for me to branch out into medals collecting, as I am sure you have inspired others as well.

    @ricko It's a 1979 medal by Therese Dufresne of NYC. My very first high relief/3D medal before I got hooked on cathedral medals. By the look of it, looks like a birds eye view from a top of Empire State building. I have a few shots of NYC birds eye view that I took from Empire State building back in 2010.
    Thanks.

    @Zoins
    @ZoidMeister
    Thanks.
    I'm really happy I swapped displayed slabbed coins with these medals. I really enjoy looking at it while in the computer or working in my home office. They used to be in a box and I have to hauled them up to look at it. Now I just need to figure out how to display all 68 medals all together.
    Thanks again for looking.
