Ever think of what to do before a milestone post happens?
Hi guy's, yes, in exactly just 4 more posts and I would have hit that 7000 post. Ever ponder on what and how to use it? I'm sure many have. Sure, I can have a "Giveaway" like most members do. I'm thinking outside the box. Lol. Trying to be conservative on my last 3 posts before that big one. Stay tuned...

When I was here as nwcs I did. Had a few giveaways as well. Now I just post and occasionally notice. But congrats anyway!
Time to reveal your first $7,000 cherrypick!

Post count means nothing, its the posts themselves that matter not now many or how fast you get them.

I’m glad to see that this thread has led to something good.

In almost 20 years here I've seen folks with enormous post counts who have absolutely nothing to contribute. On the other hand, some with very low numbers are a plethora of knowledge. (hardly ever get to use the word 'plethora')
I stopped looking at post counts long ago.... I did post a message of thanks for my 75K post though... It was brought to my attention just before hitting that number by several members. Cheers, RickO
Oh ... So that's what those numbers mean.
Just wading through whaleville.

I see some replies discussing the difference quantity and quality, which is of course true. The fact that a high post count does not equal a high quality post count goes without saying.
But you have asked whether anyone has considered it. I have seen many members say they are doing something, and even sometimes it will be suggested to them by another. So it is definitely on the minds of people. I don't remember doing that, but I did do a new collector giveaway on I think my one year of being a member. I have seen that too.
Tradition dictates that when you hit 7000, you give me an AGE.
Did you get a badge?

I actually feel bad that I must have let my 16,384th post go uncelebrated.

@messydesk ..... Just checked... No, did not get a badge. Cheers, RickO
To celebrate my 7000th, (one more post away) I decided to buy a mixture. Out of the 5 items, 3 are silver related. The other two are quite interesting. How did I do for a total purchase of $30? Thanks guys.

That's because 75,000 posts was thought to be unattainable. They're working on designing you one with dcarr's help. It'll be awarded retroactively.
I demand that it be tarnished though to keep him humble.

Definitely not worth $7,000...
Is that with or without privy mark?
It can be without, wouldn’t want anyone to think I’m greedy.
Joey is officially the first person to celebrate a post count by buying something for himself.

When I hit 10,000, I did not want to give away any inventory so I gave away fresh-caught Ahi Tuna instead
