Is this 2020 P US Virgin Islands Salt River Bay Quarter a double die error.

I received this quarter in change and save because I'm collecting the The America The Beautiful Quarter Series. Is this quarter worthy of paying the money to have it professionally graded to determine if it is I double die?

no
the effects are from an over-used die

Is this quarter worthy of paying the money to have it professionally graded to determine if it is I double >die?no. to find such a recent dated coin with doubling that strong, it would be a truly scarce monster of a coin with some big big value. the mints aren't letting such coins out as easily any more.
some pretty major errors are still getting out but not ddo/rpm etc as much unfortunately. a few neat ones turn up but in minor form.
such coins are probably best not sent to the TPG right off the bat as they don't attribute everything and new discoveries, even less. pretty much any new discovery within the past decade either went through someone with connections through proper channels or was a major discovery that changed numismatics forever.
welcome to the forum and numismatics which has a theme park on one side and a loony bin on the other.

I'll agree with the sentiments already posted-a worn out die. And the correct terminology is doubled die, not double die.

@Thepackrat3.... Welcome aboard. It is not a doubled die, as mentioned above. Good luck with your searches... Cheers, RickO

Thank you all for the insight on the die deterioration. That's a new term for me. After investigating the term to learn more about, I found an excellent drawing of the difference between the two.
