Sitting in my garage in a 1980's Topps box. What should I look for? There's no Yount, Brett, Ryan, Aaron...

Rice & Carter rookie cards as well as any other top tiered HOFers like Schmidt, Bench, Gibson, Killebrew, Stargell, etc. Also Pete Rose.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

I did see that one. Lol
Commons that are worth a lot of money in high grade are Rusty Staub, Frank Tanana, Dave Guisti,
Jesus Alou, Darrell Evans, Will McEnaney and a few others. PSA 9 or 10 those cards are valuable.
On the other hand if you find a gem mint looking Hal Breeden don't get too excited. He's as common as dirt in high grade.
Good luck!!! I'd say all star/HOF cards in high grade are valuable (relatively). Rose, Robinson, Bench, Jackson, etc. Great find!
Look for the rookie card of the greatest third baseman of all time.
Sincerely,
Goose Gossage
I thought Schmidt's rookie card was '73?
Who is that? Lol
You have the year backwards. Brooks Robinson's rookie card was in 57, not 75.
Nice. IMO, that ding will cost you on the Tanana but the Concepcion looks solid. Good luck with your grades if you decide to submit
Boog! One of the cool action shots of the 70s.
Some nice cards. Keep 'em coming. I've always found it odd that Murcer is an AL All-Star as a Giant, I know he was traded but I've never liked how Topps does this. IMHO, the player's card should reflect the team they finished the prior season with and not the team they moved on to (especially during the off season). And, why was there was no third AL Outfielder? I find it hard to believe it was unintentional. If so, that is some piss poor QC. I think it should have been Reggie. Also, Aaron's AS card is a Record Breaker? Why? Peculiar year for Topps but I like the cards. True 70s colors, etc.
Hmmmm... I have 3 Tanana's so far...
I see an early '60s card made it into your photos too.
I love 75ś.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
1975 and 1971 are the best sets of the 70's for me. i also like 72 but building a exmt to nrmt set has been a struggle for me.
Never get tired at looking at 75's.
Terry Bradshaw was AMAZING!!
