A futures bet on that would probably pay you 200:1.

I'll take those odds. Seriously though, strange things do happen. That Dolphin rookie QB is so over-hyped that it's funny. And the Rams have the worst place-kicking game in the league. But.....the Dolphin defense can be great and when the Rams are hot they're hot. I can dream can't I?

Are we talking about the 2020 season or the SB played in 2021?

I would have thought it were higher, only because of Goff at QB. Very tough road to navigate through Green Bay, New Orleans, Seattle and Tampa. They all can't knock off each other. and I haven't even mentioned trying to get through the Chiefs.

Why not? Baker Mayfield does some really great T.V. commercials. And I heard from a reliable source that the Eagles were just laying low during the first half of the season in order to lull the competition then finish up strong in the second half. Prediction...... Mayfield throws for 476 yards in 3-0 win against Eagles after Wentz leaves game in first quarter complaining of a mild migraine. Headline........"Forest City Goes Nuts, Wentz Gets Cuts!"

Good pick. The Eagles would make mincemeat out of the Cheaps. Great head to head matchup between Wentz and Mahomes. Wentz comes out of it as game MVP after he leads Philly to 42-0 trouncing of a hapless KC squad led by former great QB Patrick what's his name. Downtown Philadelphia then erupts into a 3 day orgy of riots. The National Guard is called out but they join the riot which stops only because a mid-winter blizzard hits town. I can see the headlines now!

    I disagree with ya.

I think the Chiefs kick a cheap field goal as the game clock runs out to make the final score 42-3.

My heart says Bills. But my head says they are still 2 years away.
Chiefs in the AFC are still the team to beat.
There is no real standouts in The NFC.
Packers aren’t physical enough. Bucs are up and down. Seahawks can’t win in the playoffs with that defense so at the moment.

In an odd shortened season, give me the teams that have had consistency of organization, system, personnel and winning with an uncanny ability to be excellent and yet at the very same time completely under the radar.

I just took the Bills yesterday at 22:1.

I make two Future SB a year. One when the season first starts, and one midway through the season. Future bets hitting pays for my other lousy gambling during the year.

The favorites (Steelers/Chiefs) odds don't appeal to me. I don't bet big enough to make a decent return. If the Rams (58:1) or Bills get real lucky, I might be able to get a 20XE.

I don’t like chalk bets on horses and I’m sure not taking a chalk bet in a 32 team league. Half way through we’ve narrowed it down but Pittsburgh had to be the worst looking 8-0 team in history. Didn’t say worst, just worst looking.

    betonline.

    They take US customers.

They take credit cards for funding (many offshore books only let you fund in bitcoin).

They pay with checks. Many offshore books only pay you in bitcoin. Or they want to deposit into your bank account. No way am I giving an offshore book access to my bank account.

Tampa Bay at +800 is a pipe dream. Unless the Saints have a total collapse the Bucs are a wildcard team. What does that mean?
Road games through out the playoffs. If it started today.
    Philadelphia in January
    Seattle in January
    New Orleans
And Kansas City in the Super Bowl
    Carson Wentz
    Russell Wilson
    Drew Brees
    Patrick Mahomes

    Pete Carrol
    Sean Payton
    Andy Reed

I am not being a wise guy - at all - but without fans (some/all teams could go that way) I would think road playoff games are a little less daunting.

Might be worth factoring in and/or considering.

Saints have gotten the bad calls against them at the end of games for the last two years. I do like their team as constructed, but odd stuff keeps happening to them. And how are the Patriots shorter odds than the Browns!!!!!

I have no idea. The non PI call in the endzone and another PI/non PI call another year. Do the refs or the league have it in for them? I don't follow them closely enough to know any of the p articulars about them. I had no money riding on those games, so I think I was being objective as a fan when watching those games.

Could well be. Remembering the worst non call in sports makes me think it could be.

If I take off my homer glasses for my LA teams, I'd say the LA Kings and Lakers are not subject to negative referee bias. On the other side it appears to me the Dodgers are subjected to more than a fair share of bad ball/strike calls.

jmo I think a few refs/umps dislike certain managers/coaches and it affects their calls.
