I will not buy this without a place to go ahead of time. I don’t want to own it and am not going to beat my brains out on ebay. I don’t care if it turns out there is some profit. I know it won’t be much.

No. I'm still mad at the mint for the November 5 debacle. :#

I will forego the frustration and indulge in some mid day appreciation of fall colors at the shooting range. This will also help to dispel any residual angst from November fifth. ;) Cheers, RickO

Today's offerings are not so obvious to have much secondary market value. They don't fit into a highly collected series. Look at things like Liberty medals for a comparison.

I'm buying..., but in roll form. None of this silliness.

Someone on another forum I am a part of is buying at +125 for the silver and +645 for the gold, only offer I have seen so I locked in.

As time marches on, these offerings will dilute the secondary values of almost all other modern bullion coins. There just isn't enough demand to go around.

    I knew it would happen.
  • IMO, the reverse field on the gold is cluttered and silver is not a coin (though it is attractive). I wouldn't want to own it, so not going to buy it.
