The toning process...
Hi guy's, got this idea from erwindoc's thread about the 1955s Lincolns. Thanks e. I've had this framed roll of 1955s Lincolns awhile back, almost 10 years.
As you can see, I stuck them into 50 ring capsules. In which, I bought from a Jewelers. Anyway, since then some of the coins had turned into toned gems. Here are my favorite ones out of the 50. Also, with a couple interesting characteristics on two of them. First the toners.
Now the two interesting ones
I have two of these!
"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.0

It looks like the last Lincoln came off a different die than the others.
I knew it would happen.
Are you talking about the last toned one or the die chip? The one above the die chip Cent, with the gouge. I have two identical ones.

I should dig out mine... though I am sure they are all circulated brown. Years ago, when living in WA state, I had a jar of wheaties accumulated over the years...I had my wife go through them one day and pull out all the '55 cents while I was away on a business trip. I was hoping a '55 DDO had slipped into the pile. No luck, but some '55S cents did show up. Cheers, RickO
An excellent example of AT...or NT...or AT.... LOL
I'm not a fan of the toning. The one with the die gouge I like.
