Just because there is not enough threads about the 75th anniversary ASE... But I was curious to see what percentage of us snagged one.

I actually had my grandma try for gold, I tried for silver, my other grandma tries silver, and two sisters tried silver. Only my two sisters succeeded. I will sell one and keep one. Jeez that was not fun.

I would never use my family to get more then allotted by the US Mint, just my personal opinion..

Got one of the silver.

Took about 50 minutes. And in that time there were a bunch of f-bombs, an abused mouse, many boats and motorcycles and countless oops/refreshes.

Whiffed on gold.

Ended up getting silver like 1.5 hours after they released by reloading 1000's of times over the hour and a half. probably not worth the time and frustration. At least i got one in the end...but still.

I didn’t intend to buy one but the challenge of getting through the process kept me going. It’s my stubborn nature, I guess.

Looks like most of us got one. With 75,000 we all should have got one. The frustration of the mint site "Oops" and "Banned" lock outs was terrible! But with an hour of patience and persistence it had finally worked for me. Either that or the Mint Director heard me cussing at him with boiling frustration and he finally unlocked my IP for purchase...

You just made $400 an hour even though your brain is putty it’s worth it.
