Nice layered wavy look on this 2017 from the Denver mint. Kind of like the color variations you see in some geological formations. Thoughts & observations welcome.

That was funny...............yes, in just 3 short years, waves and all. The environment can be extreme.....
If you see odd looking coins as "art" then these are interesting.
But they have no numismatic value as they are damaged coins.
Looks like something my son spit up on...

It's a rare "camo" coin. Issued by the millions but rarely found in circulation due to the camouflage finish the mint put on the coin. You might have one in your pocket now and don't know it.
Wow. I'm just curious as to just how long the coin had been basking in guacamole and salsa in someone's cup holder to be able to retain such an extraordinary patina!?
looks like some sort of paint or die has been applied - seriously doubt it would straight grade
i know people here like to name toners and when i first saw that coin i thought that would be an apropos nom de guerre since it has a pseudo-camo look to it.
it may actually be interesting to see more accurate images.
