Hi guy's, get ready. Unusual thread. Lol. I'm putting a couple of the world's two most used elements together, side by side. To show off it's beauty! I'm talking about, "Rock and Precious Metals."
Long ago, I found these various types of rocks from all over the world. Beautiful colors and textures. So I decided to take pics of the similarity between the two. Here are just a few samples of my rock collection, along with my coin collection. ;)

Makes me want to get my chunk of native copper out. I’ve had it since high school. Wish I could afford a nice piece of native crystallized gold.

    Me Likum Crystals!

My parents bought these emeralds in matrix in the early 70's when we went to Columbia on vacation. They present much better than my picture!

When I saw the thread title I thought the elements were going to be gold and silver not rocks and precious metals... :D

Nice "toning" on the rocks. How do you plan on getting those rocks into a slab? :D

    Now those you can polish.
Good color in the emeralds also.
They would look cool in an emerald cut.
