I use a blue print file cabinet for my coin storage. The one I have looks similar to the pic below. You can find these used.
I saw one of the home renovation shows recently (think it was Love It or List It) where they took one of these newer metal cabinets and made it a built-in (encased in stud/sheetrock construction). It was an attic office if I recall correctly, which gave them room for the built-in. It was also ‘desk high’ as opposed to being at floor level. It was way cool.
I love the old wood furniture pieces, but often they have too much wear and tear for my tastes. Also, the owners are almost universally way-too-proud and ask way-too-much. The finger holes are also something that would cause my OCD to peg-out. Still fun to look at though.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

Nice but I'd build my own before I would spend that much.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
The medical bills from needing to reattach my fingers would cost more than the cabinet so I should probably just buy one.
Not at those prices.... Wow.....Cheers, RickO
I recently seen a couple of these of different sizes in the 650-850$ range at an antique mall. Almost bought one.
I just looked at the 1st 1. Yeah, purdy pricey but the real killer for me would be the "local pickup only."

All are nice furniture for coin access, but you would need to surround them with a big safe or vault for full security.
DL Hansen cabinets and vault.

This one was on Ebay many years ago. Not sure what it brought.
