Question on a future purchase?
Hi guy's. I went to a pawn shop today and came across a ANACS graded Morgan Dollar. 1892p in a EF 45 grade. An older small type holder. He wants $35. Great price or no? Thanks guy's

old holder or new?
If it's a nice 45 it's a good deal to me. Buy the coin not the holder.
$35 looks good to me. Try and get some junk silver thrown in or added at a discount.
That's a real good price for a better date. Now what does the coin look like?
Not bad at all. Even has a tone to it.
At first I thought it was a 1892s! But is was the way ANACS places it's $. They placed it right next to the date. So naturally, I thought it was a 1892s? BIG MONEY.

Decent.
Sounds good.
The small white older holders have held some upgradeable values to me in the past. $35 does not sound bad to me, but if you see an old mercury dime lying in a box ask if he would throw that in, just sayin'.

Not a bad deal.... If you like the coin, take it. Certainly not a treasure, but a nice coin at that price is a fair addition to the collection. Cheers, RickO
As long as it's problem free, looks nice and natural for the grade, I would snag it at that price in half a heart beat (and thats fast). The 1892 only had a mintage of 1,036,000! I am always a buyer for a nice slabbed Morgan (except 1921) at $35.00 or less. You better go get it before somebody else does! Just look at how much folks are asking for raw Morgans right now. But see if "it is the best that he can do" on the price. Never hurts to ask.
